Funny Birthday Cards about Menopause
by Karen RobertMy friend Wendy commented on facebook about my last posting when I talked about Mother’s Day. I had said that we are rewarded for raising kids with them rejecting us when they become teenagers. She said “I was kind of thinking that Mother Nature rewarded us with something else when our kids are teenagers…..menopause.”
With that happy thought, I designed this card yesterday based on a funny photo I found.
And then there is this one I just made today, which I think I like even more.
By the way, if anyone has any funny photos from their childhood, I am in the market for them. I have made about 20 of them so far which I will be offering on the site in the next few months. I am having a blast coming up with captions, though my family is getting a bit tired of my asking them their opinion. So I’ve decided that tomorrow I will post a funny vintage photo and ask you all to come up with a funny caption. It will be like the New Yorker caption contest. Stay tuned.
